Free Tours for Bloggers
Bloggers can qualify for a full or partial refund of the Blogger rate initially paid to us. In order to qualify for a full or partial refund one has to:
  • Book as Blogger (not as Adult);
  • Write a blog post that is at least 300 words in length; and
  • Fill out the form below.
Please note that we seek honesty and transparency, otherwise a message will not be credible. The blogger who writes critical posts just to make us uncomfortable will probably not be refunded though.

MAXIMUM AMOUNT

The maximum amount that will be refunded is the full Blogger rate initially paid to us. Please note that this amount does NOT include any taxes and fees charged on top of this rate. Please note as well that if a voucher code has been used, the discount will NOT be included in the maximum amount. After all, the discount is not part of the Blogger rate initially paid to us. How to calculate the maximum amount? Let us say you have booked a USD 40 tour for a group of 3 and you have used a USD 30 discount voucher. The total order amount after discount is USD 90 [(3 x USD 40) – USD 30], meaning the maximum amount is USD 30 (USD 90 / 3).

ACTUAL AMOUNT

The maximum amount serves as the basis for calculating the actual amount that will be refunded. The actual amount that will be refunded is the full or partial Blogger rate, depending on how many criteria have been met (see below). For each criterion met, a certain percentage of the maximum amount will be refunded. If all criteria have been met, 100% of the maximum amount will be refunded. Please note that the actual amount can never be higher than the maximum amount. So if all criteria have been met and also the bonus is applicable, there will still only be 100% of the maximum amount refunded.

REFUND

The actual amount will be refunded by PayPal in Thai baht. If you have paid us in US dollar, we will use the exchange rate on the moment of the refund to convert the actual amount in US dollar into an actual amount in Thai baht. Please note that the actual amount that you will receive will be a bit lower than the actual amount we have refunded in Thai baht. This is due to PayPal’s payment and conversion fees and cannot be prevented.

CRITERIA

Please find below an overview of the objective criteria we use to calculate the actual amount that will be refunded:

CONTENT (0-20%)

LINK TO TOUR’S PRODUCT PAGE (0-10%)

Your blog post needs to include a link to the tour’s product page1 and the link’s text needs to include the tour’s keyword2. For example, if your blog post is about the Bangkok Buddha District tour, your blog post would need to include the following link: Bangkok sightseeing tour. If your blog post includes a link to the tour’s product page, you get a 5% refund. If the link’s text also includes the (correct) tour’s keyword, you get another 5% refund.

PRODUCT DETAILS IFRAME (0-10%)

Your blog post needs to include the tour’s Product Details iframe3. If your blog post includes the tour’s Product details iframe, you get a 10% refund. If your blog post includes any of our other iframes, you only get a 5% refund. Please note that by including the tour’s Product Details iframe you will not only get a 10% refund, but you will also earn 10% commission for each tour booked through the tour’s Product Details iframe (and any other iframe you will integrate on your website).

AUDIENCE DEMOGRAPHICS (0-20%)

LANGUAGE (0-10%)

The language in which your blog post is written determines if you get a 0, 5 or 10% refund. For blog posts written in English you get a 5% refund and for blog posts written in (most) other languages4 you get a 10% refund.

AGE (0-5%)

The age range in which (most of) your blog’s audience falls determines if you get a 0 or 5% refund. If (most of) your blog’s audience falls in the 18-24 or 25-34 age range, you get a 5% refund.

COUNTRY (0-5%)

The country where (most of) your blog’s audience is from determines if you get a 0 or 5% refund. If (most of) your blog’s audience is from a western country, you get a 5% refund. Several Southeast Asian countries qualify for the 5% refund as well, just like few other countries5.

INFLUENCE IN A NICHE (0-30%)

KLOUT SCORE (0-20%)

Your Klout score6 determines if you get a 0, 5, 10, 15 or 20% refund. Please see below how much you get refunded based on your Klout score:

  • 40-44: 5%
  • 45-49: 10%
  • 50-54: 15%
  • 55+: 20%
Please note that the average Klout score is 40. Users with a score of 63 are in the top 5% of all users.

KLOUT TOPICS (0-10%)

Your Klout (expertise) topics determine if you get a 0 or 10% refund. If one of your Klout (expertise) topics is Adventure Travel, Bangkok, Southeast Asia, Thailand, Tourism, Travel, Travel Writing, Tropical Vacations or Urban Travel, you get a 5% refund. If one of your Klout (expertise) topics is one of the tour’s Klout (expertise) topics, you get another 5% refund.

For the other social platforms7 no such condition needs to be satisfied in order to qualify for a 5% refund for sharing the branded shortlink to your blog post on those platforms.
